Fried Mee Hoon.

The fried mee hoon comes with some bean sprouts. It has a nice dry texture and pleasant flavours. The fried yellow noodles is firm and springy and tastes pretty decent too. The vegetarian goose is thin and crispy with a subtle sweet taste and it tastes nice. A dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste with crunchy onion bits is provided on the side. Both the fried mee hoon and yellow noodles taste not bad.

Nasi Lemak.

The standard nasi lemak set comes with a piece of fried chicken wing, a fried egg and a side of ikan bilis and peanuts, served along with rice and chilli.

The fried chicken wing is moist and meaty with savoury flavours and lightly coated in a crispy batter. The fried egg has a cooked yolk and cooked whites. The peanuts are crunchy, and the ikan bilis is fairly crispy but turning soft. The rice is a bit bland though, with hardly any coconut milk flavours. However the dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste with crunchy onion bits pairs well with the rice and balances it up.

Overall, the nasi lemak tastes ok.
