85 Ngor Hiang Hei Biar offers a wide range of ngo hiang pieces. Featured here are their crispy prawn cracker, bean sprouts prawn cake, ngo hiang, teochew fish cake and water chestnut cake. A plate of fried mee hoon is served alongside the plate of ngo hiang pieces.

The crispy prawn cracker has a crunchy crispy flour batter and tastes decent. The bean sprouts prawn cake has a piece of prawn on top of its crispy and firm dough containing some bean sprouts. It has a nice bean sprouts taste. The ngo hiang has a crispy skin and a soft, flavourful filling with a hint of yam taste. The decent tasting teochew fish cake is soft and smooth, with tiny bits of chilli and spring onions mixed into its fish paste. The water chestnut cake has a light crispy exterior, is soft inside, and has a nice subtle sweet taste of water chestnut. These are served with a limey chilli dip on the side.

An optional side of fried mee hoon can be added to the ngo hiang dish. The fried mee hoon is moist and quite flavourful.

Overall this serving of ngo hiang with fried mee hoon tastes quite decent.
