The fried chicken thigh is moist and meaty with crisy and savoury-tasting skin and batter. The ikan bilis is crispy and flaky, and the peanuts is crunchy. The fried egg has a cooked yolk and cooked whites. The serving of rice has a firm texture and is fairly flavourful. A dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste containing some ikan bilis is provided on the side, along with a few slices of cucumber.
