Nasi Lemak

Aliff Nasi Lemak serves nasi lemak with a small selection of sides. Above is with fried chicken wing, fried egg, ikan bilis and fish cake.

The fried chicken wing is moist and meaty with savoury seasoning flavours and crispy skin. The fried egg is rather normal with cooked yolk and whites. The savoury tasting ikan bilis is crispy and crunchy, and the fish cake is firm and springy.

The rice is fairly firm and has mild savoury flavours of coconut milk. However there are some soft lumpy parts with too much moisture. A mildly sweet tasting chilli is provided on the side.

This plate of nasi lemak tastes rather ordinary, but still decent.
