KL Hokkien Mee
ABC Famous KL Hokkien Mee does KL style Hokkien mee that uses a dark soya sauce. Available in noodles, mee hoon or ying yang. Shown here is their ying yang version which is a mixture of both noodles and mee hoon.
This Hokkien mee comes with slices of pork, sotong, prawns and crispy lard fried in a mixture of noodles and mee hoon with dark soya sauce. The noodles used here are more like udon than yellow noodles and tastes just average. Comes with a limey tasting chilli sauce on the side, which actually mixes well with the noodles. This plate of Hokkien mee actually tastes better when eaten with the chilli and lard pieces.
