Fried Hokkien Mee

Ah B Fried Prawn Noodle does fried hokkien mee containing the usual prawns, sotong and pork. A mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon is wok fried with some bean sprouts, spring onions and eggs, and simmered in a flavourful broth.

The prawn is decently large size, is springy and tastes fairly fresh. The sotong is firm, and the pork is firm and meaty. The star is in the moist fried noodles and mee hoon mix. It is very flavourful with distinctive taste of prawns and faint hints of smoky wok hei. It is good! Some crispy pork lard, a piece of green lime and a slightly limey tasting chilli are added to the sides.

This plate of fried hokkien mee is definitely good. I like it!
