Satay

Ah Pui Satay grills only pork satay, with nicely marinated flavours. Each skewer comes with a generous portion of pork, with a large piece of fatty meat sandwiched between the meaty pieces. The pork is firm and meaty, while the fatty portion has a nice crisp and is juicy.

The skewers of satay are served with some some cucumber slices and onions, accompanied with a bowl of nutty flavourful satay sauce that has spicy undertones. The dipping sauce contains tiny bits of grated peanuts and is topped with a scoop of pineapple puree, adding a nice touch of tartiness to its taste. The sauce pairs really well with the satay.

The nasi impit is an optional add-on. The compacted rice is firm and yet soft.

This serving of satay is truly enjoyable. I like it!
