Fried Pork

Ah Yen Traditional Fried Pork serves fried pork that comes with a choice of rice or noodles. As shown above, the fried pork rice comes with slices of fried pork served on a plate of rice, topped with a fried egg, and accompanied by a bowl of soup on the side and an optional chilli sauce.

The slices of fried pork are tender with a nice crispy batter, and are well marinated with tasty flavours. The fried egg has a soft and watery yolk with crispy whites. The rice is firm and fluffy. The soup is a nicely seasoned salted vegetables and pork ribs soup. The chilli is limey and garlicky and pairs really well with the fried pork.

This serving of fried pork rice tastes good!

For the noodles version, the fried pork kway teow soup is a popular choice. Slices of fried pork are served in a bowl of kway teow with soup, along with a few pieces of you tiao.

The fried pork slices are soft and meaty, but its crispy crust is soft after soaking up in the flavourful soup. The kway teow is quite smooth, while the you tiao is soft and flavourful after absorbing up the nice flavours of the soup. This is a good option too.

Salt & Pepper Chicken

Ah Yen Traditional Fried Pork also offers a salt and pepper fried chicken option, served with a choice of rice or noodles. As shown above, the salt and pepper fried chicken is served with tossed noodles.

The fried chicken features smooth and tender meat coated in a crispy batter, and a flavourful skin that is spinkled with salt and pepper. The tossed noodles is firm and springy with nice savoury seasoning flavours, and tossed with some crispy pork lard. The noodles is served with savoury vegetables and coriander leaves toppings. Nice!
