Yong Tau Foo

Cambridge Road Yong Tau Fu sells yong tau foo with a decent selection of sides to choose from. You can choose from either noodles or mee hoon, in soup or dry versions. Seen here is an assortment of yong tau foo pieces with dry yellow noodles mixed with chilli and sweet sauce.

The meatball is springy with nice flavours. The tau pok with fish paste filling is soft and flavourful. Likewise for the fu chuk, it is flavourful. The fish dumpling is fairly smooth and nice. The fish paste with beancurd skin has savoury flavours. All of them are rather decent.

The yellow noodles are mixed with a mixture of chilli and sweet sauce, and tastes rather nice. Comes with a bowl of nice soya bean flavoured soup. This yong tau foo is quite likeable.
