Nasi Lemak

Changi Famous Nasi Lemak is a popular stall serving nasi lemak with a few sets to choose from. Above is their set with fried chicken wing, fried egg, otah and begedil.

The fried chicken wing has a nice crispy batter and moist meat. It tastes a bit bland though, but still rather nice. The fried egg has fully cooked egg yolk and its whites is a bit oily. The otah has a firm texture with nice spicy flavours, and the begedil has a soft and flavourful potato filling and a slightly crispy egg coating. Do take note that there is no ikan bilis and peanuts served. Instead some fried flour bits are served as a replacement. As for the rice, it is fluffy, very fragrant and flavourful. Nice. Comes with spicy chilli sauce with a hint of sweet.

This serving of nasi lemak is rather decent, especially its rice. However it is overrated.
