Eng Ho Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee specialises in serving wet-style fried hokkien mee containing sotong and prawns. The dish is cooked by wok frying short strands of yellow noodles and mee hoon with eggs and simmered in a broth. This results in a flavourful wet plate of fried hokkien mee with soft-textured yellow noodles and mee hoon.

The sotong is firm and chewy. The prawns are of decent size and tastes quite fresh. There are some tiny bits of pork with bones attached, likely from pork ribs used to brew the broth, are also present. A piece of green lime and a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste are provided on the side.
