Fried Kway Teow

Hai Kee Teochew Cha Kuay Teow used to be located at the old Margaret Drive Food Centre. It still draws in crowds for its famous fried kway teow which still tastes good.

Its flavours are very nicely balanced. Noodles are springy and slightly wet and doesn’t taste sweet. This fried kway teow is ideal for see hum lovers as there are lots added (and lard too), giving it strong tastes and smells of see hum.

Be prepared for quite a wait, especially when there is a queue, as orders are cooked plate by plate. In my opinion, it is well worth the wait.
