Masala Chicken Biryani.

Hak Wee Food serves a range of biryani sets with various meat options. The masala chicken biryani, above, comes with a large piece of chicken leg and a side of stir-fried cabbage on a bed of biryani rice.

The masala chicken leg is tender and juicy, coated with a sauce that is bursting with a riot of limey, sweet and spicy flavours. The stir-fried cabbage is crunchy with nice flavours, and the biryani rice is moist but firm and flavourful with a mild hint of spiciness.

This serving of masala chicken tastes lovely!

Nasi Lemak.

Hak Wee Food also serves various nasi lemak sets. The set above comes with a piece of fish fillet, peanuts, bitter gourd scrambled egg and stir-fried cabbage. The piece of fried chicken wing is an extra add-on.

The fried fish fillet has a crispy batter enclosing a slice of soft and savoury fish meat. The fried chicken wing has a crispy batter as well, with soft and moist meat and nice seasoning flavours. The peanuts are crunchy and the ikan bilis is crispy. The bitter gourd is cooked with scrambled egg, resulting in a combination of crunchy bitter gourd slices and savoury scrambled egg. The serving of pandan rice is flavourful, and it comes with a dollop of slightly sweet and savoury chilli paste on the side.
