Heng’s Authentic Teochew Mee Pok

is a popular stall serving mee pok and some other choice of noodles. Enjoyable!

Fishball & Minced Meat Noodles

Heng’s Authentic Teochew Mee Pok is a popular stall that is well known for its mee pok. This bowl of mee pok comes with a fishball, a pork ball, fishcake slices and pork slices served with tossed mee pok, some vegetables and topped with chopped spring onions. On the side is a bowl of nicely flavoured savoury tasting soup.

The fishball is soft, smooth and springy with nice savoury flavours. The pork ball is firm and springy with decent flavourings. The fish cake is smooth and springy. As for the pork slices, it is soft and moist, and meaty too.

The serving of mee pok noodles has rather nice seasoning flavours as well. The noodles is smooth and springy. It is topped with chopped spring onions and some fried garlic bits instead of the usual fried shallots. The addition of fried garlic bits is a very nice touch.

This mee pok is truly enjoyable. I like it very much.
