Fried Kway Teow.

This serving of fried kway teow comes with the usual see hum lap cheong and fish cake. The dish is wok-fried using pork lard in a mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles, along with some bean sprouts, vegetables and egg.

The fried kway teow has rather nice flavours with a subtle note of sweetness and undertones of smoky wok hei. The kway teow is rather smooth and the yellow noodles is springy. The see hum is decent in size and taste. The lap cheong is firm texture and has a sweet flavour, while the fish cake is springy with a pleasant fish taste.

This plate of fried kway teow is enjoyable. I like it.

Fried Rice.

This plate of fried rice features chunky pieces of meaty chicken, wok-fried in pork lard with egg and mixed beans added. The fried rice has a nice dry and firm texture, and its flavours are decent. A side of chopped green chilli is provided. The serving of chicken fried rice tastes not bad.
