Cai Png

Joo Heng Cooked Food sells cai png with a decent selection of mains and sides to choose from. Seen here is with fried pork and minced pork with potatoes and served with curry rice.

The fried pork is somewhat like sweet sour pork without the sauce. It is crispy outside and meaty inside with nice seasoning flavours. The minced meat comes with some potato pieces and some mixed beans. The minced meat is meaty and the potato is rather soft. Tastes decent too.

These are served on a plate of white plain rice with curry sauce added. The rice is fairly firm, and the curry is mildly spicy with nice flavourings. This serving of cai png is rather nice.
