Hainanese Chicken Rice

Ju Xing Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice is a fairly popular stall that sells only white hainanese chicken rice. Everything is served individually here: a plate of hainanese chicken, a plate of rice, a bowl of soup and a saucer of chilli.

Let’s get started with the hainanese chicken. The hainanese chicken is nicely deboned. The chicken meat is quite tender and moist with really smooth chicken skin. The boneless chicken meat slices are served on a plate with a soya sauce and oil seasoning, and comes with a few slices of cucumber and some achar. Nice!

The accompanying plate of rice is decently flavourful. Likewise for the soup, it has nice savoury flavours with a hint of ginger. As for the chilli, it is spicy, limey and very garlicky.

All in all, this is hainanese chicken rice is quite likeable.
