REVIEW

Jurong East Tasty Mixed Rice & Porridge

is a popular cai png stall serving a nice selection of mains and sides. Likeable.

Cai Png

Jurong East Tasty Mixed Rice & Porridge serves cai png with a nice selection of mains and sides. Above is with sweet sour pork, minced meat patty, fried bean sprouts and onion egg omelette served with rice and curry.

The nicely flavoured sweet sour pork has slightly crispy cubes of meaty pork with some pineapple and onions. The minced meat patty is soft with nice savoury tastes. The fried bean sprout is moist and crunchy with nice flavourings and a faint tint of smokey, The onion egg omelette contains cruchy onions bits. It is very nicely done with slightly crispy sides and is flavourful. Recommended. As for the rice, it is firm and the curry sauce has a mild spicy note.

This serving of cai png is likeable.
