Fried Kway Teow

Lao Fu Zi Fried Kway Teow is a fairly popular stall serving fried kway teow in both white and black versions.

The fried kway teow comes with decent portions of see hum, lap cheong slices and fish cake slices wok fried in a mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles with egg, bean sprouts and some vegetables.

This fried kway teow has more kway teow than yellow noodles. The black version has some sweet black sauce added giving it a very faint hint of sweet taste, whereas the white version goes without. Both versions are nicely flavoured and has a nice smokey taste of good wok hei. I like it!
