01-26 Fried Carrot Cake

dishes out nice tasty white fried carrot cake, fried kway teow, fried hokkien mee, fried oyster omelette and mee goreng.

Fried Carrot Cake

Only the white type of fried carrot cake is served here. It is pan fried with eggs until it is very crispy and has a mild smokey wok hei taste. The radish cake cubes is soft and savoury with bits of chye poh. Tastes good!

Fried Kway Teow

This fried kway teow comes with prawns, sotong slices and fish cake slices wok fried in mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles. with egg and bean sprouts. The resulting fried kway teow is moist and smells really fragrant. Sweet black sauce is added, giving it nice savoury and sweet flavours. Nice flavours. I like it.

Fried Hokkien Mee

This fried hokkien mee comes with prawns, sotong and fish cake wok fried in a mixture of yellow noodles and thick mee hoon with egg and bean sprouts. The noodles is springy and moist with nice flavours. Comes served with a piece of green lime and a dollop of nicely flavoured chilli paste on the side. This plate of hokkien mee is likeable.

Mee Goreng

This is the chinese style mee goreng which comes with prawns, sotong and fish cake. The yellow noodles are wok fried with bean sprouts and egg, and served with a piece of green lime on the side. It is a little moist and a little spicy, with nice wok hei flavours. Nice!

Fried Oyster Omelette

This fried oyster omelette comes with decent sized oysters that are quite juicy. It has a nicely flavoured egg and starch mixture that is pan fried to a mild crisp and has a dry texture. The starchy parts are a bit chewy but isn’t crispy. Comes served with a limey tasting chilli dip on the side. This fried oyster omelette is quite decent.
