Signature Mee Pok

Lau Lim Mee Pok serves their signature mee pok with fishballs, meatball, fish cake slices, pork slices, minced meat and some prawns.

The fishball is soft and smooth, and the fish cake is fairly smooth and springy. Both have nice fish flavours. The meatball is soft and smooth too, with nice meaty flavours. The minced meat is soft and meaty, likewise for the pork slices. As for the prawns, they are of decent size and tastes rather fresh with a nice springy texture.

The mee pok comes with some bean sprouts, and is tossed in a savoury tasting seasoning with some crispy pork lard. It tastes a bit overly savoury for me, but if you do like your food savoury, you would probably love this. A bowl of savoury and flavourful soup is served on the side.

This serving of signature mee pok is nice, especially their fishball and meatball.
