Chicken Porridge

Li Fang Congee is a popular stall selling an assortment of porridge. Seen above this their chicken porridge with a raw egg added as an add-on. This bowl of porridge is smooth and nicely favoured. The added raw egg adds to its smoothness. It is topped with chopped spring onions, fried shallots and pepper. Contains meaty shreds of chicken meat in the porridge. This bowl of porridge is served with half a stick of crispy you tiao. Very nice!

Popcorn Chicken Porridge

The popcorn chicken porridge is something uncommon. Instead of shredded chicken meat, fried crispy popcorn chicken is used. Same smooth and tasty porridge with a raw egg added, and a serving of crispy you tiao. The crispy popcorn chicken contrasts very nicely with the smooth porridge. I like it.
