Nasi Lemak

Nasi Lemak & Economical Bee Hoon serves nasi lemak with a decent selection of sides to choose from. Above is with fried chicken wing, fish fillet, fish cake and hot dog.

The rice is firm and has a fairly fragrant scent and light coconut milk flavours. The fried chicken wing has a lightly coated crispy batter with moist meat and nice seasoning flavours. The fish fillet is slightly crispy outside and soft side. The fish cake is soft and tastes decent with a hint of fishiness, and the hot dog is the regular supermarket type. A dollop of slightly sweet and spicy tasting chilli paste is provided on the side.

This is quite a decent serving of nasi lemak.

Fried Mee Hoon & Noodles

Nasi Lemak & Economical Bee Hoon also serves fried mee hoon and fried noodles. Above is a mixture of their fried mee hoon and fried noodles with a piece of otah added.

The fried mee hoon is a little moist and comes with some bean sprouts. It has decent flavourings with a mild hint of sweet. The fried yellow noodles is firm and springy and tastes rather decent. As for the otah, mild spiciness and decent flavourings.

The fried mee hoon is rather likeable.
