Satay

Original Alhambra Satay traces its roots back to the original Satay Club located at Beach Road. The satay is available in the usual choice of meats – chicken, mutton and beef. These are served with a satay sauce by the side.

The chicken satay has nice seasoning flavours with a sweet taste and a subtle hint of smokiness. Both the mutton and beef satay are meaty with a sweet seasoning taste, and the mutton satay does not taste gamey. All 3 satay are nicely grilled and tastes likeable.

The nasi imput the regular type that is fairly firm with a very little bit of stickiness. As for the satay sauce, it is nutty with grated peanut bits with a slight notes of savoriness and mild spiciness, but kind of watery though.

Overall, this satay is likeable though I would have preferred the satay sauce a little thicker.
