Ponggol Nasi Lemak

serves tasty and flavourful nasi lemak with several outlets in Singapore. Definitely good and enjoyable.

Nasi Lemak

Ponggol Nasi Lemak serves several nasi lemak sets. Seen above is with fried chicken wing, fried prawn, fried egg, otah, ikan bilis peanut.

First, the fried chicken wing. It has a very nice crispy batter and moist meat. Very nice, and I should have ordered extras. The fried prawn as well has a very crispy batter and nice flavourings. Both are nice!

Next, the otah is spicy with some fish meat bits and decent flavours. The fried egg has a runny yolk and soft whites. As for the ikan bilis and peanuts, the ikan bilis has an airy crispiness to it and the peanuts is crunchy. There is a surprise here, the ikan bilis has a slightly sweet taste to it. Nice!

The rice is firm, fragrant and flavourful with nice flavours of coconut milk. It is served with some sambal chilli paste on the side. The sambal chilli has very nice flavours of dried shrimp and a slightly sweet taste. It goes really well with the rice.

This nasi lemak is definitely good. Truly enjoyable too. Love it!
