Review: Pontian Wanton Noodles (Singapore)

[Sassy_Social_Share]

Wanton Mee

Pontian Wanton Noodles sells Malaysian style wanton mee that comes with slices of char siew, fried wanton and boiled wanton. Seen here is with extra fried wanton and boiled wanton added.

This bowl of noodles is springy and has nice seasoning flavours. Comes with some vegetables. The lean meat char siew is meaty with a slightly sweet taste, and is its weakest link.

The fried wanton is has a light and airy crispiness to it with nicely flavoured meat filling. A bowl of ikan bilis flavoured soup comes on the side with boiled wanton. The boiled wanton has a nice soft skin wrapper with nicely flavoured meat filling too. Adding extra fried and boiled wanton is highly recommended.

This is quite an enjoyable wanton mee. I like it. Thumbs up!
