Yong Tau Foo

Red Sea Homemade Yong Tau Foo offers a nice selection of yong tau foo with choice of noodles. Seen above is with egg noodles choosen.

The fishball is smooth and soft and springy with light savoury tastes. The tofu is fairly soft and smooth with nice soya bean flavours. The fried wanton has a nice airy and crispy skin with a soft fish paste filling. The bean curd roll is crispy outside and soft inside. The tau kee is crispy outside with soft savoury fish paste filling inside. The tau pok with fish paste filling is firm outside with nice soft fish paste filling and decent flavours. All the yong tau foo pieces are rather likeable.

The tossed egg noodles is firm and springy. It has a black sauce seasoning giving it a slightly sweet taste. Crispy pork lard is optional. The egg noodles is likeable too. It is served with a bowl of savoury flavoured soup and a saucer of dried shrimp flavoured chilli sauce and sweet sauce.

I like this yong tau foo. Thumbs up.
