Kolo Mee
Sarawak Kolo Mee sells an assortment of kolo mee. Seen here is their signature noodles and their garlic chicken noodles. Both comes served with a bowl of light savoury tasting salted vegetables soup on the side.
The signature noodles comes with slices of char siew, minced meat, fried wanton, vegetables and fried shallots. The lean meat char siew is soft and meaty with sweet flavours. The minced meat is soft with nice savoury tastes. The fried wanton is crispy and has a mild alkaline taste but still decent. As for the noodles, it is springy with mildly sweet flavours coming from its black sauce seasoning.
The garlic chicken noodles comes with slices of fried chicken cutlet that is topped with garlic bits. It is crispy and juicy with nice savoury tasting seasoning flavours. Comes with a crispy fried wanton and springy noodles. Personally, I prefer their garlic chicken noodles over their signature noodles.
