Fried Kway Teow.

Sea City dishes out two fried kway teow options, the regular ones and the penang style ones. Kway teow is wok-fried with egg, bean sprouts, spring onions and crispy pork lard. As far as I can tell, there is no yellow noodles added.

The regular fried kway teow features plump and juicy see hum, firm and sweet lap cheong slices, and springy fish cake slices. The penang style fried kway teow replaces the see hum with rather large and fresh prawns.

Both fried kway teow options are savoury and flavourful with a tint of wok hei. The regular black version has an additional layer of mild sweetness to it. Both versions tastes nice.

Fried Rice.

The yang zhou fried rice contains fairly large and fresh prawns, firm and sweet lap cheong slices, and springy fish cake slices. These are wok-fried with rice and eggs, and served with a dollop of spicy and limey tasting chilli paste. The fried has a nice dry texture, is flavourful with a subtle hint of wok hei. Tastes nice
