The fishball minced meat noodles comes with fishballs, fish cake slices, minced meat, pork slices and a fish dumpling, with mee kia chosen as choice of noodles. A small bowl of nicely flavoured soup is provided on the side, and the pork balls are an extra add-on.

The fishball and fish cake are both smooth and springy. The fish dumpling is rather smooth with a flavourful filling. Both minced pork and pork slices are soft and meaty. The pork ball is firm and springy, with a savoury and meaty taste. All these are served on top of a bowl of tossed mee kia that is springy and smooth with a flavourful seasoning.

The sliced fish is very smooth and soft, served in a bowl of flavourful soup with lettuce, tomato, tofu and seaweed. The tossed mee pok is firm and springy with a very smooth texture and flavourful seasoning. It is topped with crispy pork lard and fried shallots on a bed of bean sprouts.

This serving of fish soup with mee pok is good! I truly enjoyed it.
