Yong Tau Foo

Seng Kee Cooked Food sells yong tau foo with an assortment of yong tau foo pieces that you can pick from. You can choose the usual selection of noodles, as well as with clear soup or with laksa gravy. Shown here is mee hoon with clear soup.

The assortment of yong tau foo are standard fare, and so is the dipping sauce mixture of sweet sauce and chilli sauce. The chilli sauce is a bit salty though. The thing that is likeable is the soup. It is nicely flavoured with soya beans in it. Unlike others, this is refreshing and doesn’t taste salty at all. I like it.
