Shanghai La Mian Xiao Long Bao

is a hugely popular stall selling Shanghainese style noodles and dumplings.

Xiao Long Bao

Xiao Long Bao is one of their signature dishes. It is quite tasty. However, I do find that its skin wrapper is a bit thick and having more soup with its minced meat fillings inside would have been much better. Overall, its flavours are good though.

Guo Tie

The flavours are good. The dumpling wrapper has a nice chewy texture, and the minced meat fillings tastes good. However a really good pan fried dumpling should have only its bottom side’s skin fried to a golden crisp and the rest of the dumpling skin should be steamed with a soft texture. This version of Guo Tie is almost fully fried. It is just decent.

Dan Dan Noodles

This Dan Dan Noodles is just average. Its la mian noodles are springy, which is good. Its spicy and sour sauce is a bit on a salty side. Averagely good flavours but kind of lacking.
