Curry Chicken Noodles
Sheng Kee Curry Chicken Noodle sells curry chicken noodles with either yellow noodles or mee hoon. Seen here is with yellow noodles and chicken thigh meat. Contains fish cake slices, potatoes and tau pok as well.
The curry sauce, soaking up the springy yellow noodles and some bean sprouts, is the watery type, mildly spicy with nice flavours. The white chicken thigh is rather smooth and tender with really smooth chicken skin. The curry potato is decent as well, though it would have been nicer if it is softer. The tau pok is very flavourful with curry sauce, and the fish cake is quite springy and soft. Comes served with a mild spicy chilli paste with very nice shrimp flavours that mixes really well with the curry sauce. I quite like this bowl of chicken curry noodles. Thumbs up.
