Cantonese Poached Chicken Porridge

Soh Kee Cooked Food is well-known for its cantonese poached chicken porridge. It comes with a serving of cantonese poached chicken, a bowl of porridge and chilli sauce.

The poached chicken is moist and meaty with rather smooth skin. It comes served with some cucumber slices on a plate with a slightly sweet tasting soya sauce seasoning, and topped with some spring onions. The porrdige is fairly smooth and decently flavourful. It is a bit on the watery side. The raw egg in the porridge is an extra add-on. A saucer of watery and limey tasting chilli sauce with a slight tint of sweet is provided on the side.

The serving size of this cantonese poached chicken porridge is rather generous, and it tastes nice too. I like it.
