Nasi Lemak

There are quite a number of dishes to choose from to go with the nasi lemak. Shown here is with luncheon meat, otah, scrambled chye poh egg, peanuts and fried chicken wing, with sambal chilli on the side.

The rice is quite dull and not fragrant at all. Probably just a minute amount of coconut milk is used. The sambal chilli is quite watery with a bit of sweetness and hints of ginger. The luncheon meat, otah, scrambled chye poh egg and peanuts are the usual ordinary stuff. As for the fried chicken wing, it is quite nice. Crispy batter outside and moist inside, with nice savoury flavours. Other than the fried chicken wing, the rest are quite mundane and average.

A much better nasi lemak in the neighbourhood is HoYeah Nasi Lemak located in a coffeeshop at an adjacent block.
