Nasi Lemak.

Spicy Wife Nasi Lemak is a hugely popular stall serving a trio of nasi lemak options – fried chicken leg, chicken rendang and mutton rendang. Both rendang options were sold out at the time of visit.

The nasi lemak comes with a giant size piece of fried chicken leg, a fried egg, ikan bilils and peanuts, along with a serving of fragrant rice with a distinctive coconut milk taste. An optional dollop of mildly sweet chilli paste is provided on the side.

The fried chicken provide is huge. It is freshly fried, and is tender, juicy and meaty, with a crispy batter. It has nice seasoning flavours of spices, and its skin is crispy and flavourful. The fried egg has a cooked yolk and whites. The ikan bilis is airy and crispy, and the peanuts are crunchy.

The serving of nasi lemak is truly enjoyable and satisfyingly good!
