Hainanese Chicken Rice

Sukarnih Chicken Rice is a muslim stall selling hainanese chicken rice, formerly located in Tanglin Halt. Shown here is with both hainanese chicken and roast chicken.

The hainanese chicken is quite tender and moist with smooth chicken skin. Decent flavours too. Likewise for the roast chicken, tender and moist flesh with nice roasted flavours. The chicken are served soaked in soya sauce with a very mild hint of sweetness. Do note that the chicken may not be deboned though. Personally I do like the flavours of their roast chicken a bit more than their hainanese chicken.

The plate of chicken meat comes with a plate of flavoured rice that is fragrant and tastes decent. A small bowl of soup is included as well. The soup is a bit salty though but still fairly nice. The garlic chilli sauce is just your regular chicken rice chilli, which is watery and spicy.

Overall, this is quite a decent meal of chicken rice.
