Vegetarian Fried Mee Hoon

Tanglin Halt Ruyi Vegetarian is a popular stall formerly from Tanglin Halt serving vegetarian fried mee hoon and fried noodles. Above is their vegetarian fried mee hoon with a spring roll added. This plate of fried mee hoon comes with an assortment of mock meats, tofu and fried long beans.

The tofu is smooth and springy. The mock goose is crispy outside, soft and chewy inside with nice flavours. The mock pig stomach is made of mian jin, is soft with a slight chewy texture and very nice flavours. There is one more which I guess is mock abalone, made of a firm texture tofu. All the mock meats are nice.

The fried long beans is crunchy with nice flavourings. The spring roll is crispy outside with nice flavourful vegetables filling inside. It is nice and recommended add-on. As for the fried mee hoon, it has a nice smokey taste with bits of soft cabbage.

This vegeterian fried mee hoon definitely tastes good. Thumbs up!
