Nasi Lemak

Tree Coconut Nasi Lemak is a popular nasi lemak stall with a nice selection of sides to choose from. Seen here is with beef rendang, fried chicken wing, otah, achar, ikan bilis with peanuts and a fried egg, served with sambal chilli on the side.

The beef rendang is meaty, soft and tender. It is spicy and really nice flavours. The fried chicken wing has a nice airy crispy crust with moist meat and very nice flavourings. Thumbs up for both.

The otah contains bits of fish meat and tastes decent. The ikan bilis and peanuts are crispy and crunchy, and the fried egg has a soft yolk. As for the achar, it has nice limey flavours with a hint of sweetness. Very nice!

All these are served with a plate of very fragrant rice with nice flavours of coconut milk. Served on the side is a dollop of spicy sambal chilli with dried shrimp flavours. This is definitely a lovely and enjoyable plate of nasi lemak. Their beef rendang, fried chicken wing and achar are good. Recommended.
