Warung M. Nasir serves nasi padang with a wide range of dishes to choose from. As shown above are beef rendang, begedil, chilli egg, and a side of achar, served with rice and drenched in curry sauce.

The beef rendang is tender and meaty with lovely flavours of various spices. It has a spicy note with sweet undertones, and it is delicious! The begedil has a soft and flavourful potato filling coated with a flavourful egg coating that is still slightly crispy, and it tastes lovely. The chilli egg features a boiled egg coated with a sweet chilli sauce, and the rice is drenched in a spicy and flavourful curry sauce and it blends really well with the flavours of rendang sauce and chilli sauce. The side of achar features slices of crunchy cucumber, sweet pineapple, thin carrot slices, chopped chilli, and crunchy onion bits. It has a refreshing limey taste that acts as a palate cleanser from the various spices.

This serving of nasi padang is both satisfying and enjoyable. Big thumbs up!
