Winner’s Fried Chicken
is a fried chicken chainstore originating from Malaysia. Quite overrated here
Fried Chicken
Winner’s Fried Chicken is a chainstore originating from Malaysia selling various parts of fried chicken. This is their mixed chicken set which comes with a piece of thigh, breast meat, drumstick and fries.
Let’s begin with the fried chicken thigh. It has moist chicken meat but not exactly juicy and the fried chicken skin is mostly soft with just very small pockets of crispiness. Not airy either.
Next, the fried chicken breast meat. Its meat is dry, very dry. Its skin is soft except for a small sliver of crispy edges. No airiness in the skin either. This is definitely not to my liking.
As for the fried drumstick, its fresh is rather dry as well considering that this part of the chicken should be tender and moist if not juicy. The layer of fried skin is totally soft with absolutely zero crispiness. This is such a failure….
The fries didn’t fare well either. They are soft and tastes stale, and oily as well. The fries are quite poorly done in my opinion.
To be fair, the fried chicken has quite decent savoury flavours and the fried chicken thigh is kind of acceptable. I won’t recommend this fried chicken though. However, if you must eat here, go for just the fried chicken thigh and skip the rest. The fried chicken and fries from your regular fast food stores probably tastes better than this.
