Pork Porridge.

Xiang Ji Porridge does the usual assortment of porridge. Seen above is their pork porridge with a raw egg added. This bowl of porridge comes with pork slices and meatballs, topped with chopped spring onions, fried shallots and some chye poh.

The pork ball is soft and fairly springy with nice savoury flavours. The pork slices is soft and tender. The porridge itself is rather thick and fairly smooth with a slight savoury taste. The raw egg helps add to its smoothness. This bowl of porridge is nice. It would have been better if there is crispy you tiao to go along with it.
