Soya Sauce Chicken

Xiang Jiang Soya Sauce Chicken is a hugely popular stall selling soya sauce chicken with either noodles or rice. Shown above is their soya sauce chicken noodles.

The soya sauce chicken has fairly smooth skin and decent soya sauce flavours. Its flesh is moist but not exactly smooth and kind of bland without the soya sauce seasoning. The noodles are cooked too soft and tastes quite bland as well. Comes with a few strands of vegetables. The chilli paste on the side is spicy with mild sweet flavours and tastes of dried shrimps. The accompanying bowl of savoury soup on the side tastes decent.

This soya sauce chicken noodles is not exactly bad but it is definitely overrated.
