Fried Carrot Cake

Xiao Ling Fried Carrot Cake serves fried carrot cake in the usual white and black varieties. Both are topped with chopped spring onions.

The white version of this fried carrot cake is pan fried flat with a nice crispy egg coating. The small radish cubes inside are soft. Nice contrast in texture and nice flavours too.

The black version has sweet black sauce added, giving it a sweet taste and making the crispy parts turn chewy. The sweet chewy bits are really nice.

Both versions are nice, though I prefer the black ones a little bit more. This is definitely a lovely fried carrot cake.

Fried Carrot Cake Sticks

Besides the white and black fried carrot cake, Xiao Ling Fried Carrot Cake does fried carrot cake sticks too. These fried carrot cake sticks are crispy outside and decently soft inside. The outer deep fried layer is a bit thick, giving it a chewy texture. Flavours are nice too. Very likeable and good for snacking on. Recommended.
