Fried Carrot Cake

Xin Ong Huat Carrot Cake does fried carrot cake in the usual white and black versions.

The white version of this fried carrot cake is done flat style with small cubes of radish cake pan fried with eggs and some chye poh. It is fried until the eggs turn slightly crispy and it is served with some chopped spring onions topping.

As for the black version, it is similar to the white version but with extra sweet black sauce added. it uses the same small radish cake cubes with eggs and chye poh. The added black sauce gives this fried carrot cake a sweet taste. There is also a very mild smokey taste to it. Nice.

Both the white and black versions of this fried carrot cake are quite decent.
