Fishball Noodles

Yong Kee Famous Fish Ball Noodle is just another stall selling fishball noodles in the usual assortment of noodles. Seen above is their mee pok with extra meatballs added. It comes with fishballs, fish cake slices and fish dumplings.

This mee pok has a dry texture with a vinegar and soya sauce based seasoning. Pieces of crispy pork lard are added. The noodles are quite springy. However, do note that there isn’t any bean sprouts added.

The fishballs and fish cake are soft and springy. The savoury tasting meatballs has a firmer texture and is rather soft and springy as well, and tastes more like a mixture of fish and meat rather than purely meat. The fish dumplings are smooth and nicely flavoured. Comes with a small bowl of savoury tasting soup that is on the salty end.

This fishball noodles is quite ordinary, but still fairly likeable though.
