Satay
DJ Muslim Seafood & Satay sells satay with choices of mutton, beef and chicken meat. Shown above are all three choices with a bowl of satay sauce served on the side.
The mutton satay is tender and has a nice sweet flavour. Nicely grilled with a bit of charring, and no gamey taste. Likewise for the beef satay, the lightly charred bits is good. It has a less sweet flavour compared to the mutton satay and the meat is a bit hard. As for the chicken satay, it has moist and tender meat with a lightly sweet taste. Tastes decent too, but could do with a bit more charring.
All the satay are quite decently sized. Comes with a small bowl of satay sauce for dipping into. The satay sauce has strong nutty flavours, is spicy and a bit of sweet. Quite nice.
Otah
DJ Muslim Seafood & Satay also sells otah. This otah has a nice smokey flavour and is mildly spicy. Tastes rather nice, but a bit on the soft side. Personally I prefer otah that is grilled a bit drier.
