Fried Ebi Teishoku

This fried ebi set comes with 3 pieces of fried prawns served on a plate with lettuce and a slice of lemon. The set comes with a serving of rice, miso soup and tonkatsu sauce.

The prawns has a nice crispy breaded crust and isn’t oily. It goes really well with the tonkatsu sauce. The lettuce is moist and crunchy, topped with a Japanese salad dressing. The miso soup has nice flavours, and contains bits of beancurd and seaweed. As for the rice, it is the Japanese type of rice that is slightly sticky and has a firm texture.

This fried ebi set is good. I like it. Recommended.

Chicken Katsu Curry Rice

This chicken katsu has soft and moist meat with a nicely breaded crispy and airy fried crust. The Japanese curry is nicely flavoured with mildly spicy and slightly sweet flavours. Comes with a serving of Japanese rice. This chicken katsu curry rice is rather nice. Almost similar to eating something similar locally in Japan.

Chicken Karaage Curry Rice

The chicken karaage is lightly coated with flour and fried until a nice crisp, with nicely flavoured and moist meat. Its chicken skin is especially good, airy type of crispiness. This chicken karaage mixes very well with the flavours of curry sauce. Comes served with the usual servings of Japanese rice and Japanese curry. Definitely nice. I like it.

Pork Katsu Don

The pork katsu don has a piece of pork cutlet that is topped with smooth egg and onions, and served with Japanese rice. The pork cutlet is thick and meaty, decently crispy as well. Unfortunately the savoury tasting sauce makes parts of the crispy breaded crust soft and the pork meat is a bit too firm and tough. Still fairly decent though.
