Fried Mee Hoon

The fried mee hoon served here is the white version. Seen above with a fish fillet added. The fried mee hoon has a nice dry texture with tiny bits of carrot and egg. Comes with a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side. The fried mee hoon tastes rather likeable with the chilli paste. As for the fish fillet, it is just ordinary, soft and not crispy.

Nasi Lemak

Nasi lemak is available as well. Seen above is with fried chicken wing, fried egg, luncheon meat and ikan bilis with peanuts. It is served with a dollop of dried shrimp flavoured chilli paste on the side.

The rice is fairly fragrant but it is a bit soft and bland. The fried chicken wing has decent flavours, however its batter is soft and isn’t crispy. The fried egg has a nice runny yolk. The luncheon meat is the regular kind. As for the ikan bilis, it is crispy with mild savoury tastes and the peanuts is crunchy.

This nasi lemak is just ordinary. The fried mee hoon is definitely a better choice.
