The fried chicken wing is meaty and decent flavours, but its batter is mostly soft with just small pockets of crispiness. The teochew fish cake is springy, and contains tiny bits of chilli and spring onions within its decently-flavoured fish paste.

The side of chilli ikan bilis is soft and chewy with a spicy and slightly sweet taste. The serving of rice is fairly fragrant with a subtle hint of coconut milk flavours.
